Job Description

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living
• Prepare meals
• Make beds and change linens
• Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming
• Run errands
• Engage in physical and mental exercises
• Provide medication reminders
• Companionship
• Document and report any changes in client’s health status
• Report any significant client changes to the Agency and/or client representative(s)

Important Information You Should/Must Bring :

• California ID or Driver's License
• Social Security Card
• Proof of TB Testing or X-Ray within the last 3 months - UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED THROUGH HCSB WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS
• We will provide you with a list of free locations to get TB testing if you do not have this, but it is a requirement for working in the State of CA. * Home Care Services Bureau (HCSB) Related Documentation
• Personal ID Number (if you have already registered)
• Registration Print Out
• Proof of Required Training from any other agency * Any Certifications (CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, etc.)

For Driving Caregivers Only:

• Driver’s License
• Proof of Auto Insurance
• Proof of Auto Registration
• DMV Record Print Out

Requirements:

• Caregivers: 1 year experience required (in a facility, care home or verifiable private care)
• Home Care Aide (HCA) license in good standing
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Secondary Languages a PLUS: Tagalog, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), Korean, Spanish, and all other languages.'

• Charting or taking notes for others to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening
• Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
• Feeding clients
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
