Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for daily warehouse operations, team leadership, and performance execution across receiving, picking, inventory control, and shipping. This role directly supervises warehouse associates and ensures operational efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

The Supervisor drives productivity, enforces accountability, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as the operational leader on the warehouse floor.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

· Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping.

· Manage workflow to ensure on-time fulfillment and service level performance.

· Allocate labor effectively to meet daily volume demands.

· Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions in real time.

· Ensure dock-to-stock and order cycle times meet performance targets.

Team Management

· Directly supervise warehouse associates.

· Conduct daily start-up meetings and communicate operational priorities.

· Coach and develop team members to improve productivity and accuracy.

· Provide performance feedback and participate in disciplinary actions when required.

· Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.

Inventory & Accuracy Ownership

· Drive cycle count execution and inventory accuracy targets.

· Investigate discrepancies, damages, and shrink.

· Ensure proper material handling and storage practices.

· Monitor inventory movements within the WMS for compliance and accuracy.

KPI & Performance Management

· Track and report key performance indicators including:

o Order accuracy

o On-time shipment performance

o Productivity rates

o Inventory accuracy

o Safety metrics

· Recommend process improvements based on operational data.

Administrative & Systems Responsibilities

· Oversee scheduling and attendance management.

· Ensure timekeeping accuracy.

· Utilize WMS/ERP systems to monitor warehouse performance.

· Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

· Support implementation of new systems or warehouse processes.

Safety & Compliance

· Enforce all warehouse safety standards and PPE compliance.

· Conduct safety walkthroughs and hazard identification.

· Lead incident investigations and corrective action plans.

· Maintain OSHA compliance and forklift certification standards.

Equipment & Systems

· Warehouse Management System (WMS)

· RF scanners (Keyence or similar)

· Forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks

· Microsoft Office / reporting tools

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· 3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience.

· 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience required.

· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

· Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
· Must be bilingual in Spanish and English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
