Position Summary
The Warehouse Picker / Package Handler is responsible for accurately selecting, handling, packaging, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining Premier Home Pros quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Accurately pick products using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
· Handle, sort, and package materials according to company and customer requirements.
· Verify SKU numbers, product descriptions, and quantities prior to packaging.
· Label, stage, and palletize shipments as required.
· Inspect products for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
· Follow all safety procedures and proper material-handling techniques.
· Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality performance standards.
· Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous warehouse, picking, or package handling experience preferred.
· Ability to read and understand pick tickets, labels, and instructions.
· Basic math and counting skills.
· Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
· Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Work Schedule
First shift Monday through Friday. Flexible scheduling may be required, including overtime, weekends, or holidays based on business needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
