Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Assistant to support our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will help ensure the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers by coordinating logistics, tracking inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role is crucial for maintaining efficiency and meeting customer demands in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate stock control.
• Track shipments and deliveries to ensure timely arrival of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and shipments.
• Support logistics planning and resolve delivery or supply issues.
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., sales, production, and finance) to align supply chain activities.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory, order status, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred, not required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or administrative support role is advantageous.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Office and warehouse environments.
• Occasional lifting of packages or materials (up to 25 lbs).
• May require occasional travel to supplier or warehouse locations.
