This is a full-time, on-site Home Health Nurse position located in Newark, OH. The Home Health Nurse will deliver exceptional care to patients in their homes, focusing on assessments, treatments, and ongoing monitoring to promote recovery and overall health. Key responsibilities include providing nursing care, administering medications, educating patients and families about proper healthcare practices, and performing wound care. The role requires detailed documentation and effective communication with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans.
- Strong foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with appropriate certifications and credentials
- Experience in Home Care and Patient Care, with the ability to provide compassionate, personalized services in patients' homes
- Expertise in Wound Care, including dressing changes, infection prevention, and treatment management
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Current nursing license in good standing; CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of medical record documentation and compliance with healthcare standards
- Reliable transportation for traveling to patient homes and ability to meet the physical demands of the role
