Role Description The PRN Registered Nurse role at Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc. is a part-time, as-needed position based on client and agency needs. This is an on-site role located in Burlington, NC, providing direct nursing care to clients in their homes and potentially in contracted facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting nursing visits, performing assessments, developing and updating care plans, administering treatments and medications, and monitoring client progress. The PRN RN collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers to coordinate safe, effective care, while educating clients and families on disease management and home care procedures. The role also involves accurate documentation, adherence to regulatory and agency standards, and participation in quality and safety initiatives as required.

Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Clinical expertise in home health or related settings, including patient assessment, care planning, wound care, medication administration, and chronic disease management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, clients, families, and facility staff.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle PRN scheduling, prioritize visits, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently in home and facility environments, exercise sound clinical judgment, and adapt to varying client needs and cultural backgrounds.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or clinical documentation systems and basic computer literacy.
- Previous home health, hospice, long-term care, or hospital experience preferred; familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and home care regulations is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
