We currently have opportunities for Per Diem RNs in the Forsyth and Guilford County area. The role of the Per Diem RN is to provide professional nursing services in compliance with governmental regulations, individual State Nursing Practice Acts and Premier policies, procedures and philosophies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct assessments and document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Assist with procedures such as dermal fillers, specimen collection processing, spinal taps, and airway management.
- Ensure infection control practices are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Utilize medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Experience:
- Experience administrating IV antibiotics, Infusions and wound care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Familiarity with ventilators and sterile processing techniques is a plus
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
