As an integral part of our service team, you'll ensure that installations are performed accurately, safely, and efficiently, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients’ properties. Your mechanical knowledge and field service expertise will help deliver top-tier solutions in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and configure HVAC systems such as air conditioning units, ventilation systems and water heaters according to schematics and design plans.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, HVAC design documents, diagrams to ensure precise installation.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R equipment, including appliance repair and property maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during installation and service procedures.
- Test installed systems for proper operation, efficiency, and safety compliance; make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports and system specifications.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC installation, service technician tasks and water heater experience.
- Proficiency reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design and property layouts.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair techniques including welding and component replacement.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues within HVAC systems.
- Field service experience working on air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems (HVAC/R), or similar environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites, refrigerants like ammonia, and handling hazardous materials.
