About the RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Role:
As an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising a team of Registered Nurses and other healthcare staff on weekend shifts
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Providing guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective care delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Identifying and addressing potential issues and concerns, and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department on weekend shifts
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for nursing practice
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Current RN license in the state of New York
- Prior experience as a Registered Nurse
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends and variable shifts
