Location: The Bronx, New York

Shift Schedule:

4x Week, Every Other Weekend Required

5AM to 1PM OR 6AM to 2PM

About the Nursing Home Cook Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Home Cook to join our culinary team. As a Nursing Home Cook at Pinnacle Multicare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional culinary services to our residents. As a Nursing Home Cook, you will:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for our residents
• Ensure that all meals are served in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and prepare special menus and meals for residents with dietary restrictions
• Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and their families, ensuring their satisfaction and well-being
  
  
  

Nursing Home Cook Requirements:

• Must have a valid ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s Certification. Applicant without certifications will not be considered.
• Previous experience in a cook or similar role is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be a self starter to meet the demand of the kitchen operations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
