What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech position at Premier Healthcare, LLC?
Floor Technicians are an integral part of the environmental services team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Floor Tech you are responsible for providing a full range of environmental services including:
- Following a rotation schedule to deep clean resident rooms which includes striping, waxing and buffing floors.
- Maintaining floors in the dining room, activity room, resident lounges as well as the reception and other common areas.
- Inventorying cleaning solutions, wax, stripping/buffing pads, etc. and notifying supervisor of items and quantities needed to be ordered.
- Maintaining equipment and notifying the supervisor when repairs need to be made.
- One year of experience working as a Floor Tech or Housekeeping Aide preferably in a healthcare facility.
- Attention to detail with initiative to follow through on assignments with little supervision.
- Proven ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Excellent customer service skills along with good interpersonal and communication skills
