Activities Assistant Job Summary:

Page Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being. Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents, including games, crafts, outings, and other recreational programs
• Encourage socialization and interaction among residents, families, and staff through various activities and events
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and vendors to provide opportunities for residents to engage in outside activities
• Collaborate with the activities director to create and implement activity programs that meet the needs of our residents
• Assists with daily living tasks and supports the overall care of our residents as needed
• Maintains accurate records of resident participation, activity schedules, and supplies
• Participates in staff meetings and contributes to the overall success of our activities program
  
  
  

Activities Assistant Requirements:

• Prior experience in a healthcare or activities setting (training provided)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
