Job Summary
The Medical Tech PRN will independently perform computed tomography (CT) procedures, utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. The ideal candidate will work under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
Responsibilities
- Independently performs CT procedures
- Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner
- Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs
