Position Summary
General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Physician Order Coordinator (POC) includes the daily auditing and review of outstanding physician orders. This would include constant review of reports and data as well as interfacing with physician offices and physician office staff. The incumbent must also communicate with Fidelity clinical and clerical staff for physician updates and additional information that may be needed prior to physician signature.
Dimensions
The POC is responsible for tracking and coordinating 100% of orders needing a physician signature.
