General Summary/Responsibilities
Status: Full-time: *40 Hours per week (80 hours per pay period
Facility: Miami Valley Hospital
The pay range for this position is $17.00–$23.21/hour.
The ICM Triage Coordinator is responsible for initial triage/coordination and processing of referrals of patient, family and employee, physician and community needs based on referral to the ICM/Social Work Dept., in a timely, efficient, effective manner. The ICM Triage Coordinator shares in the responsibility for the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the ICM/Social Work Dept. This position requires maintaining confidentiality, problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills and varied secretarial duties
Qualification
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience
Preferred experience: Previous secretarial experience working with community or in a social service setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
Other experience requirements: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated excellent time management/organizational skills. Computer literate, proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite applications. Demonstrated ability to work independently Dependability, flexibility and customer relations skills are imperative to this position.
