Regional Traveling Sales Manager for Ohio and the surrounding area.
Premier Gold Silver and Coin Association is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Manager to lead our operations across assigned territories. In this pivotal leadership role, you will train, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of buyers while driving exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and aggressive sales growth.
Position Overview
As Regional Manager, you will be responsible for your region's success by building strong teams, expanding into new territories, improving close ratios, and ensuring consistent profitability. You will play a key role in expanding our footprint while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Deliver standardized training for new hires using company manuals and policies, with a strong focus on product knowledge, administrative processes, and show preparation.
- Coach buyers on superior customer service and the art of the buying conversation to boost confidence and close rates.
- Conduct weekly regional huddles to refine rebuttal techniques and overcome customer objections.
- Provide personalized coaching and in-person/virtual training for buyers with a 60% or lower close rate.
Operational Leadership
- Achieve and maintain a high regional close ratio that meets or exceeds company targets.
- Ensure operational accountability, including accurate midweek shipping, weekly counts, error-free tagging and bagging, and proper documentation.
- Oversee administrative processes and maintain accurate records for home appointments (target: 2–3 per buyer per month).
Team Motivation & Goal Setting
- Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals for individuals and the region.
- Lead energetic weekly morning huddles to align the team and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
- Develop customized coaching strategies tailored to each team member’s motivators and challenges.
- Maintain an open-door policy to encourage open communication and team collaboration.
Territory Development
- Identify and develop new territories within your state and neighboring regions.
- Actively recruit and train new buyers to support expansion.
- Build a strong region capable of running at least 5 shows per week (46 shows annually).
Customer-Centric Focus
- Train the team to treat every customer as a long-term asset, building trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Encourage creative solutions for customers with items outside our core specialties to generate referrals.
- Drive a minimum of 10 customer reviews per buyer per show week.
Accountability & Performance
- Maintain regional profitability by minimizing errors and ensuring operational precision.
- Analyze sales data, track performance, and make adjustments to meet or exceed targets.
- Exceed the previous year’s sales volume by 20% through territory growth, higher close rates, and efficiency improvements.
- Execute all tasks and follow-ups from senior leadership with professionalism and punctuality.

- Proven leadership experience in sales, purchasing, or customer-focused roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
