JOB – Senior Control System Engineer

LOCATION – Charlotte, NC

TERM - Permanent

SALARY – $90,000 - $115,000 per annum

My client – a systems integrator of turnkey solutions across a number of Manufacturing sectors are on the lookout for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a Permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will additionally have full product lifecycle development background from both an Electrical Hardware and Software perspective.

Those with experience of Integrating Systems and delivering Industrial Automation projects across Material Handling sectors will be of particular interest.

The Senior Control System Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• BS / MS Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• PLC programming experience using Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
• Electrical System Design capability, ideally using AutoCAD Electrical to produce Electrical Schematics and Control Panel layouts.
• Exprience in working closely with customers / clients to deliver functional specifications and move through full project lifecycle phases.
• Demonstrable experience in working with Servos, VSDs or Motion Control Products.
• Hands on experience in wiring and Electrical fitting of machinery.
• Excellent communication skills.

The Senior Control System Engineer's duties will involve:

• Writing software for PLCs and SCADA.
• Electrical Panel Design and Integration for Machinery.
• Programming of Servo and VF drives.
• Delivering solutions integrating robotics.
• Participating in Project Specifications to participate in a full life cycle design process.
• Working between a number of departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient delivery of projects.
