Premier Golf Academy is a private, elite golf and academic preparatory academy located in SanMarcos, California. We offer Professional Golf Training Programs for serious junior golfers aspiring to play college or professional golf.
Our Full Time Junior Golf Program integrates academics, golf, fitness, and mental training with personal development for children 12 to 18 years old. The Full-Time Junior Program at Premier Golf Academy is for juniors that want to be the best, train like the professionals, and prepare for college or professional golf careers.
Our Advance Summer Training Camp Program is a 40 hour a week professional golf training program for serious junior golfers looking to advance their playing skills. Juniors from more than 30 countries around the world attend Premier Golf Academy’s Advanced Training Camps each year.
Along with conducting year round Junior golf programs including holiday, Spring and Summer Camps. We also conduct Adult schools and camps along with private individual/group lessons.
Do you enjoy coaching elite junior golfers? Premier Golf Academy is seeking a Full and/or Part Time Golf Coach to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Coach to join our growing full time team of coaches.
Including, but not limited to, the following:
- A passion for coaching golf, mentoring junior golfers and helping players of all ability levels improve
- Personable, enthusiastic, and must have the ability to interact professionally with juniors, parents and the coaching team
- A reliable and diligent team player that who can both take direction and work independently
- PGA Member, Associate, PGM student, or have passed the playing ability test and actively pursuing PGA membership, or have extensive tournament playing experience
- Proficient with golf technology and/or willingness to be trained
- Possess a valid, current driver's license, a clean driving record and pass a background check
- Willing to transport athletes in company vehicles ( passenger van) to and from practice and/or potential tournaments when needed
- Single digit handicap with tournament playing experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs, be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods of time
- Need to be flexible to work weekdays and/or weekends depending on demand/needs
- Provide enthusiastic, encouraging, and age-appropriate coaching for Premier Golf Academy’s full time junior programs, summer camps and tournament competitions
- Taylor private golf lessons to meet the varying skill levels of the golfers, ensuring each student receives valuable instruction
- Utilize state-of-the-art teaching aids, including video analysis, launch monitors and Sam Putt lab to support instruction and player development
- Mentor junior golfers, interact with parents and oversee lesson objectives
- Maintain a safe, positive, and professional environment for all students
- Assist with player evaluations and skill assessments
- Assist coaches in program design/development and maintain structured lesson programs
- Participate in coach training sessions and staff meetings
