Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, recording vital signs and changes in condition
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed
Requirements
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and medical instructions.
- Familiarity with software system for accurate documentation of patient records
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor essential for effective caregiving
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to HIPAA privacy standards
