Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Glazing - Commercial Lead, serving as a key figure in managing and estimating complex commercial glazing projects. In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from initial bid and estimation through project execution—ensuring seamless coordination between Bid, design, procurement, and construction teams. Your leadership will drive project success by managing budgets, schedules, and teams while maintaining compliance with construction regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile infrastructure projects within the commercial glazing sector, leveraging your construction expertise to deliver outstanding results.
Experience in all aspects of running commercial glazing operations for a 5-10 person team.
Candidate will be responsible for running commercial operations and must have experience with the following;
Duties:
-Reading plans and developing estimates/ Bids
- Manage and oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
· Developing commercial proposals
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other project documents
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project
- Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and stakeholders
Reading plans and developing estimates/ Bids
· Leading the commercial operations teams
· Performing monthly billings
· Responsible for unit profitability
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with construction contracts and legal requirements
