Warehouse Customer Service Representative (Part-Time, 25–30 hours/week)
Premier Freight is seeking an experienced, high-performing Warehouse Customer Service Representative to join our fast-paced 3PL operation on a reduced-hour schedule.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for a seasoned logistics professional who wants meaningful responsibility and direct customer interaction—without full-time commitment. You’ll serve as the critical link between customers, carriers, and warehouse teams, ensuring seamless order execution and issue resolution using SAP, 3PL Central, and related systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for customer accounts via phone and email, resolving issues swiftly and professionally
- Accurately create and process orders, receipts, Bills of Lading, and carrier dispatches
- Prepare precise load documentation and labels to support efficient warehouse flow
- Proactively communicate delays, exceptions, or shortages to customers and internal teams
- Perform advanced data entry and record maintenance in SAP, 3PL Central, Smart Turn, Excel, and supporting platforms
- Verify inbound/outbound loads, manage delivery appointments, and reconcile documentation with physical inventory
- Quickly identify and correct inventory discrepancies, product issues, and system errors
- Support warehouse audits, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives
- Step in to assist warehouse and logistics teams during peak periods
Required Experience & Skills
- 3 years of logistics coordination or customer service experience in a warehouse, 3PL, or distribution environment (required)
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP and warehouse management systems (3PL Central or Smart Turn experience a strong plus)
- Advanced Excel proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently
- Outstanding verbal and written communication with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated history of reducing errors and delays
- Ability to stay calm, prioritize, and deliver under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
Schedule
- Part-time: 25–30 hours per week
- Consistent Monday–Friday schedule (typically 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM range; some flexibility available)
