This person will work in our Warehouse receiving and processing incoming inventory, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and operating warehouse forklifts and maintaining a high standard of service.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving & Processing: Unloading, inspecting, and receiving incoming shipments of goods and materials, validating the accuracy of the incoming delivery to our purchase order and the delivery packing slips.
- Quality Control: Inspecting products for damages or defects and reporting any issues.
- Data Entry: Accurately inputting incoming delivery inventory receipts into company inventory system and update system for daily outgoing inventory deliveries.
- Inventory Management: Shelving, stocking, and organizing products in designated locations, performing inventory cycle counts, annual physical inventory and updating computerized systems.
- Order Fulfillment & Shipping: Picking and staging orders, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling for delivery or load out, and safely loading goods into vehicles.
- Warehouse Operations: Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 65 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and experience operating heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
