What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller (Real Estate Investment) position at Premier Financial Search?
Our client is a diversified company that specializes in high-end real estate. They are seeking a Controller that will take on a multitude of business operations and lead as a supervisor as well. The ideal candidate will be ready to implement new ideas and emphasize innovation, expertise and competitiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and work closely with Management
- Prepare liquidity/levanthal reports and property tax schedules
- Reconcile bank accounts and file 1099’s at year’s end
- Responsible for payroll, partnership distributions, polo payments and donations
- Act as an advisor to commercial renters (rents/parking, ongoing increases in rents)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
- Proficient in one or more accounting systems (Yardi and Quickbooks)
Salary: $180,000 to $200,000 plus bonus
