Position Responsibilities
The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across a wide range of ages and medical needs. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused patient examinations
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Provide preventive care, health education, and patient counseling
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and clinical staff
- Provide efficient, compassionate care in a fast-paced family practice environment
Our providers typically see approximately 25–35 patients per day, so candidates should be comfortable working efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and appropriate certification
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification preferred
- Current or eligible prescriptive authority
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Previous family practice, primary care, urgent care, or similar clinical experience is preferred
