What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmology Technician position at Premier Eye Care of Eastern Idaho, PLLC?
Work with an ophthalmologist (medical eye doctor) to provide patient care by performing eye-related clinical tasks, such as:
- Taking patient medical histories
- Instructing patients about medications, tests, and procedures
- Performing vision and diagnostic tests
- Assisting with patient procedures
Will generally work 32-35 hours per week in a clean, well-lit office setting. Outgoing personalities are beneficial.
Salary varies depending on the level of training, experience, level of certification.
Experience preferred. We offer on-the-job training for entry-level technicians.
