Premier Energy Systems is seeking an experienced Construction Cost Accountant with strong proficiency in Foundation Construction Accounting Software. This role is essential to supporting our project teams by ensuring accurate job costing, financial tracking, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain job cost records using Foundation
- Track labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment costs
- Process AP/AR, vendor invoices, subcontractor pay apps, and purchase orders
- Prepare job cost reports, WIP schedules, and variance analyses
- Enter budgets, change orders, and cost adjustments into Foundation
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Support project managers with cost-to-complete updates and forecasting
- Ensure accurate coding and compliance with contract and company procedures
Requirements
- 2 years of construction accounting experience
- Foundation Construction Accounting Software experience REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of job costing, construction cost codes, and WIP reports
- Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AIA billing
- Subcontractor compliance knowledge (lien waivers, insurance certificates, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred but not required)
