What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Premier Electrical Staffing?
Calling Low Voltage Cabling Technicians with Experience! We are hiring for upcoming projects In and Around the Denver Metro Area.
Must have minimum 3 years commercial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, terminate, and test CAT5, CAT6, coax, and fiber optic cables
- Perform Fluke testing and certify data cables
- Build out telecom/network closets and set up pathways
- Terminate head ends into patch panels, 110/66 blocks
- Pencil dress cables and perform clean cable management
- Perform rack and stack of network/server equipment
- Install J-hooks using Hilti guns or appropriate tools
- Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics
Qualifications:
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must be dependable and willing to complete the project from start to finish.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment with minimum supervision.
Requirements:
- Must have all basic electrical hand tools and PPE.
- Experience with low voltage work.
- Pay will be based on knowledge of low voltage.
- Must be able to pass an onsite drug test
