Job Title: On-call Substitute Teacher

Based out of The Giving Tree, Logan Square

We are looking to hire Multi-Tasking Super-Heroes who love to work withchildren!

Join our passionate team to help children THRIVE in a fun environment where we end the day with a good dance party and sing a long!

We are looking for AWESOME Substitute to support in all age groups. No Nights or Weekends!Monday-Friday: based on center needs.

Compensation: $12.00-$15.00 per hour, based on education and experience

Part-Time: 0-40 hours per week, depending on needs of the center

Position Criteria/Expectations

• “On Call” teacher will give director their daily availability to work. Director will add this to weekly schedule. For example: Monday: Sarah On Call 11:00-5:30, Tuesday: Sarah On Call 10:00-3:00, Thursday: Sarah OFF, Friday: Sarah On Call 3:00-6:00.
• “On Call”teachers will be on stand-by each day they are available until 9:30am. If they do not hear that they are needed from the center by 9:30am, they are free to make their own plans for remainder of the day.
• “On Call”staff must agree to be fully available and reliable to take phone calls from centers mornings that they are needed. If center leaves a voicemail, On Call teacher should return call no later than 30 minutes later.
• “On Call”staff will work on this as-needed basis to cover call outs, etc. They may also be pre-assigned to cover vacations or designated days off based on their availability.
• “On Call”staff will attend all staff meetings and center trainings and events as required by center and state regulations.

Queen Village
