Tree of Knowledge is a licensed childcare center seekingLeadTeachers to support the following age groups:
Infants
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require candidates be 18 , have a high school diploma OR GED, CDA or higher, 1 year experience, and the ability to pass all background checks.
Required Shift:Monday - Friday, based on center needs
Compensation: $13-15/hour, based on education and experience

- Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
- Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently.
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
- Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
- Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
