Grand Avenue Preschool in Burr Ridge is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacher for our infant and toddler classrooms.
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a CDA or at least 6 ECE college level credits, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plusif you havepreviouseducationexperience!
Required Shift:Monday - Friday, full-time, 8am-5pm OR 9am-6pm
Compensation: $19.25 - $21/hr. based on education and experience

- Implement activitiesthatencourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism,and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Createandmaintainan environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family toprovidequality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
