A Childcare & Learning is a licensed childcare center seeking LeadTeachersto support the following age groups:

• Infants
• Toddlers
• Two's
• Preschool

To beQUALIFIED for the Lead Teacher opportunity, we require a high school diploma, associate degree orhigher is required, and the ability to pass all background checks.A plus if you have previous childcare experience and working with Infants, Toddlers, Preschoool, or Pre-K!

Required Shift:Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $16-$18 per hour,based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process for Lead Teachers:

• Resumescreen
• Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
• On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Teachers:

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides. 
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently. 
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. 
• Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
