Foothills Child Development Center of Easley is a licensed childcare center seekingLeadTeachersto support the following age groups:

• Infants

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require an associate degree or higher, at least six months experience in a licensed childcare facility, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have ECD101 completed!

Required Shift:Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 4:00pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation:$15-17 per hour; based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process for Lead Infant & Toddler Teachers:

• Resume screen
• Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
• On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Infant & Toddler Teachers:

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides. 
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently. 
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. 
• Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
