Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, with full ownership of financial performance, client relationships, and overall project success.
This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are properly scoped, planned, financially managed, coordinated, and delivered professionally.
Responsibilities
Preconstruction & Estimating
- Lead project estimating and scope development
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor bids
- Build project budgets and proposals
- Identify risks and scope gaps early
- Work with leadership on pricing strategy
Financial Management
- Own full project financial performance
- Develop and maintain job budgets
- Track costs, commitments, and projections
- Manage change orders
- Maintain profitability and identify issues early
Client Management
- Serve as primary client contact
- Build strong relationships that foster trust
- Communicate updates and issues clearly
- Manage expectations and overall client satisfaction
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Field Lead and Subcontractors
- Align materials, trades, and timelines
- Support scheduling and planning with Field Leads and Subcontractors
- Remove obstacles and keep projects moving smoothly
Project Oversight
- Oversee multiple projects with support of Field Lead
- Align budget, schedule, and field execution
- Identify risks and implement solutions early
- Consistently drive projects to closeout
Qualifications
- 5 years project management experience
- Strong estimating and budgeting experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Understanding of construction sequencing
- Strong financial awareness
- Experience with project management software like BuilderTrend or ProCore
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare or occupied renovations
- Multi-site project management
- Cost-plus or negotiated work
