Responsibilities
- Build custom cabinetry, furniture, and architectural woodwork to precise specifications.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Select appropriate materials and woodworking methods to achieve superior results.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Premier's quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to solve challenges and maintain project schedules.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in woodworking, cabinetmaking, millwork, furniture building, or a related trade.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery methods, and finishing requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Extensive experience operating woodworking equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of wood species, grain characteristics, and material selection.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and mentor less-experienced team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
