Job Overview

Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, gardening, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including edging, trimming, digging, and installing landscape features
- Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction projects
- Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetics
- Maintain equipment including lawn mowers, excavators, irrigation systems, and other machinery through routine checks and basic repairs
- Help with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge for operating tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance or horticulture practices
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques such as tree care, mowing, planting or hardscape installation is desirable
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols and detail-oriented approach
- Willingness to learn new skills related to irrigation systems, snow plowing or specialized horticultural practices
