Premier Coins & Artifacts is a new, high-end brick-and-mortar coin shop and gallery in Spring Valley, Las Vegas. We specialize in rare coins, bullion, ancient artifacts, fine art, and historical collectibles. With over $1M in premium inventory and a passion for history (especially the Bronze Age and beyond), we offer an exciting environment for enthusiasts to work with exceptional pieces every day. Our modern, secure gallery combines retail sales with consultations, evaluations, and a true collector’s experience.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused individuals with a genuine background in coins, bullion, numismatics, artifacts, antiquities, or history to join our team. Whether you’re a seasoned dealer, collector, or have professional experience in museums, auctions, or related fields, this is your chance to turn your passion into a rewarding career in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in our gallery, providing expert guidance on coins, bullion, artifacts, and fine art.
- Handle sales, purchases, and consignment evaluations with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Authenticate, research, and describe inventory using your knowledge of history and numismatics.
- Maintain displays, perform light restoration/prep work (training provided where needed), and help with daily shop operations.
- Support online sales (Shopify, eBay) and participate in local coin shows or events.
- Uphold high standards of security, AML compliance, and customer service.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in coins, history, or artifacts — formal education, collecting experience, or professional work preferred (e.g., grading, XRF testing, artifact identification).
- Passion for sharing knowledge and building long-term customer relationships.
- Retail or sales experience is a plus; reliability, honesty, and attention to detail are essential.
- Comfort working in a secure environment with high-value items.
- Availability for full-time or flexible part-time hours, including some weekends.
- Local Las Vegas candidates preferred, but we welcome serious applicants.
