We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order at a medical facility after hours, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Execute commercial and industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing cleaning duties.
- Respond to special cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
