About us
Part time Janitorial position: Immediate availability.
We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of daily cleaning tasks within local businesses. The goal is to keep accounts in a clean and orderly condition and do so in a timely manner.
Monday-Friday (5:30-9:30pm)
Part time- 20 hours per week
Possibility for additional hours as work becomes available
Responsibilities
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, sanitizing restrooms/break rooms, etc)
- Perform all tasks as noted on provided task list
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repair to equipment
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff as well as employees of accounts being cleaned
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Take care of any additional items the client might ask for
Skills
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
Employee(s) will be trained on site and will follow task list to ensure all items are done in a quality and timely manner.
MUST HAVE valid drivers license and reliable transportation as well as pass background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
