Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver chemicals to various customer locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload chemicals using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Load, secure, and transport chemicals accurately according to route schedules while maintaining proper documentation of deliveries
- Service and maintain automatic chemical dispensing pumps on-site when necessary
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and organizing supplies for efficient delivery routes
- Support the maintenance of safety protocols related to chemical handling, including proper storage, labeling, and spill response procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Premier Chemical Solutions with pride!
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a commercial setting
- Willing and able to obtain Class C CDL (we cover training & cost)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally - bi-lingual a plus!
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely using forklifts or pallet jacks; physical stamina for manual handling of chemicals
- Mechanical aptitude – basic general troubleshooting and light electrical knowledge required
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and transportation is highly desirable
- Comfortable working independently on delivery routes while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
