Position Overview:
QFC Real Estate is seeking a Senior Commercial Property Manager to oversee a commercial real estate portfolio and serve as a primary point of contact for ownership groups, tenants, and vendors. This role is responsible for the financial, operational, and strategic performance of assigned assets.

Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio & Asset Oversight
• Oversee day-to-day operations of a commercial property portfolio
• Execute property-level business plans aligned with ownership objectives
• Identify opportunities to improve NOI through revenue growth and expense management
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain asset quality and safety standards
Financial Management
• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, invoice approvals, and disbursements
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for ownership
• Manage CAM estimates and annual reconciliations
Tenant & Client Relations
• Serve as primary point of contact for owners and tenants
• Maintain strong tenant relationships to support retention and satisfaction
• Ensure lease compliance and coordinate lease administration
• Support leasing efforts to drive occupancy and rental growth
Operations & Vendor Management
• Oversee maintenance operations and capital projects
• Manage third-party vendors, including contract negotiation and performance
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with legal and accounting teams on collections, lease enforcement, and related matters
Leadership & Process
• Provide leadership and oversight to property management staff, as applicable
• Implement best-in-class operational processes and reporting standards
• Maintain consistency with QFC’s service standards and client expectations
Qualifications:
• 5 years of commercial property management experience
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and reporting
• Deep understanding of lease structures and CAM reconciliations
• Experience managing vendors, capital projects, and tenant relationships
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Real estate license required (or ability to obtain)
• Proficiency in Yardi, Appfolio (or similar platform) and strong Excel skills
Salary Range:
The salary for this position typically ranges from 90,000.00-120,000.00, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
Location:
This position is based in our Downtown San Diego office, located near Little Italy. The office offers convenient access to top restaurants, coffee shops, and waterfront amenities, all within walking distance. The newly renovated County Administration Center park is also nearby, providing a unique and highly walkable work environment. Parking is provided.
