Join our dedicated team, working from 1 PM to 6PM, Monday thru Friday, as a Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial and institutional facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Handle chemical agents safely and responsibly, following all safety protocols for cleaning solutions and disinfectants
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, polishing, and stripping to maintain a professional appearance
- Use manual handling skills to lift heavy objects, move furniture, or transport cleaning supplies efficiently and safely
- Follow environmental services guidelines by properly disposing of waste and using eco-friendly cleaning products whenever possible
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Previous experience with environmental services or general custodial work is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
