Summary of Position:
Packer is responsible for the production and/or packaging of a variety of products.
Note: 3 Month Temp Role
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
· Retrieve proper box from storage area
· Ensure box count meets the standard for the customer
· Label box accordingly by customer
· Load box on pallet ensuring pallet contains only one part number
· Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
· Perform related duties as required by supervision
· Execute and document quality inspections per SOP
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma or 6 months experience in a similar role.
· Must be able to perform all duties in a facilities environment that includes exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, inclement weather conditions, airborne particles, vibration, and hazardous materials.
· May require standing for long periods of time, stooping, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
· Must maintain a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team.
Pay: $16.75 per hour
