Job Summary:
Supports daily operations by collecting, cleaning, drying, folding, and distributing linens and garments. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for staff and patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center)
- Collect soiled linens, towels, gowns, and garments from designated areas.
- Sort laundry by type, color, and size.
- Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and according to facility procedures.
- Fold, organize, and restock clean linens.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room, machines, and storage areas.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and handling protocols.
- Report equipment issues or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist with other basic housekeeping or support tasks as needed.
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner.

Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - PREFERRED
Certifications & Licensures
CPR Certification - Preferred
Completion of orientation packet/competency skills checklist within three (3) months of start date - Required
