Duties

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of commercial loan files, including financial statements, cash flow analyses, and collateral documentation to assess creditworthiness.
• Perform detailed risk analysis and underwriting to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate actions.
• Utilize financial modeling and quantitative research techniques to forecast borrower performance and evaluate loan viability.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to support credit decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare clear, accurate financial reports and summaries that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Engage in negotiation with clients and internal teams to facilitate favorable loan terms while managing risk exposure.
• Monitor ongoing loan performance through portfolio management practices, identifying early warning signs of potential default or fraud.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, or loan review within financial services or banking sectors.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling techniques.
• Proficiency with financial software tools and banking systems used for loan processing and portfolio management.
• Excellent math skills with the ability to interpret complex quantitative data and conduct forecasting accurately.
• Knowledge of technical accounting principles, mortgage servicing processes, and fraud prevention strategies is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly through written reports and verbal presentations.
