Premier Bank is looking for a full-time Digital Banker to provide exceptional service to our customers through phone and digital banking channels. In this role, you’ll be a go-to resource for customers - answering questions, resolving issues, assisting with account needs, and helping customers confidently navigate our digital banking services. We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable with technology, and committed to providing the personal service our customers expect from a local community bank.
Primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Provide primary phone support by answering incoming phone calls with 100% first call resolution and customer retention focus
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure proper phone coverage over lunches
- Answer general questions, provide product and service information and complete customer maintenance requests
- Resolution support of errors, stop payment requests, bill-pay, disputes, fraud and debit card and digital banking issues
- Process transfer requests, International digital banking requests, check orders and bank mail
- Death procedures including reviewing obituaries in the Telegraph Herald monitoring for customers with active accounts in the core system and completing the process as necessary for active accounts
- Various verifications
- Manage customer messaging channels
- Accurately and timely input of data into the core processing system to include proper identification and verification
- Assist customers with the enrollment processes for digital banking services including online banking, e-statements, bill-pay, external transfers and mobile banking
- Perform checkback on email changes in digital banking, external transfer set up, undeliverable email messages and e-sign indexing
We’re looking for individuals who possess the following skills:
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- One to two years of banking experience preferred but not required
- Overall knowledge of retail banking/financial institution products and services
- Equipment/products used include computer, typewriter, copier, telephone, fax machine, voicemail, printer, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
