Job Overview:
As the Quality Manager, you will own the Quality Management System for the facility and serve as the primary interface between the company and its customers on all quality matters. You will lead a team of two quality engineers and two inspectors, managing daily QA operations including staffing, scheduling, and performance, while also spending meaningful time on the production floor to stay close to the work.
You will drive root cause corrective action, lead internal and third-party audits, oversee supplier and customer quality activities, and ensure ongoing compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards. Success in this role means measurable reductions in defects, improved customer satisfaction scores, and a team that is coached and empowered to make decisions independently.
Background Profile:
- 3 years of experience as a quality manager, or 7 years of quality engineering experience in electronics or circuit card assembly manufacturing
- Demonstrated expertise with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, or IPC-6012 standards in a production environment
- Experience administering AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems, including audit leadership
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Benefits, Compensation, & Features:
- $95,000 to $105,000 plus annual bonus
