Job Overview:
As the Lithium-Ion Design Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of design engineers building lithium-ion power products for military applications. Your primary mission is to guide the team from initial product design through to a manufacturable outcome within the existing production environment. You will set technical direction, remove blockers, and keep the team aligned on design-for-manufacturability standards.
You will also represent the engineering function externally, traveling domestically to trade shows and customer meetings as needed. You will work on-site alongside your team every day, driving accountability and hands-on collaboration from concept through production handoff.
Background Profile:
- 5 years of engineering or product development experience in a design-to-manufacturing environment
- Experience with lithium-ion battery or power system products
- Prior experience managing or leading a team of engineers
Benefits, Compensation, & Features:
- $140,000 to $160,000 plus bonus
