Premier Architectural Products is a rapidly expanding commercial woodworking shop, dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship in every project.
We are seeking experienced Custom Carpenters /Cabinet Makers to join our growing team. As a Cabinet Maker at Premier Architectural Products, you will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery and hand tools to construct and assemble custom cabinetry. You will ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards and are completed efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of cabinet making experience
- Proficient in reading and interpreting shop drawings / blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Produce cabinetry that adheres to company quality standards as outlined by the Production Manager.
- Efficient Production: Assemble cabinet components efficiently and safely, ensuring all pieces align with the specified dimensions in the shop drawings.
- Tool Operation: Operate woodworking machines such as table saws, pocket hole machines, and chop saws, as well as hand tools like routers, drills, sanders, and pin nail guns.
- Hardware Installation: Install hardware, including hinges and handles, to complete cabinetry assemblies.
- Project Coordination: Communicate effectively with your department lead to ensure project completion aligns with company timelines and quality standards.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe and organized workspace by cleaning up and disposing of old materials appropriately.
- Product Labeling: Properly label completed projects for shipping or finishing, ensuring accurate and efficient workflow.
