We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Ambulance Dispatcher to coordinate emergency and non-emergency ambulance services during daytime hours (07:00 to 19:00). This role is critical to ensuring timely response, accurate communication, and exceptional service to our patients and partner agencies. Wages ranging from $27.00* (*based on previous Ambulance dispatch experience) and more.
12 hour shifts with OT paid after 8 hours. Emergency pays daily overtime for all hours worked over 8-hours on any given day and yes, your meal period is paid for!
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch ambulances efficiently using CAD/dispatch systems
- Answer high-volume emergency and non-emergency calls professionally
- Communicate clearly with EMTs, paramedics, hospitals and staff
- Track unit status and ensure accurate documentation
- Prioritize calls based on urgency and protocols
- Maintain clam, clear communication in high pressure situations
- Follow company policies, HIPAA, and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Prior dispatch experience (1 year- ambulance, EMS, or public safety preferred)
- Strong multitasking and decision making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be dependable and punctual for overnight shifts
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have or obtain a valid EMDR certification or EMT license
- Strong computer skills (1 year typing preferred)
