COMPANY PURPOSE: Our team is in search of a good fit for an experienced Inventory Specialist/ Shipping & Receiving with shipping, receiving, and inventory experience, preferably forklift certified. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 100LBS.
Experience with Produmex- a robust and scalable barcode scanning solution that is easy to install and easy to use. The solution supports multiple warehouse operators, processing high volumes of transactions, while maintaining high performance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times.
- Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products.
- Performing quality checks on stored inventory and reporting discrepancies in inventory.
- Updating inventory counts and maintaining inventory records.
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scans inventory, and counts accurately.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional backup support for the shipping and receiving Supervisor.
- Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
- Moving inventory from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent Customer Service, able to professionally interact with customers and staff.
- Able to safely operate a sitdown forklift.
- Extremely organized, and able to maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent time management skills.
- Independent self-starter and solution-focused.
- Able to recognize priorities and the ability to follow up and follow through.
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and solid basic math skills.
- Ability to multi-task with competing demands and work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
- Good communication skills, self-motivated.
- SAP inventory experience
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
